How Does it Work?
Get in Touch - We'll Walk You Through it!
When you are ready to enroll in school, thinking of taking a class, or want to discuss your career options, contact the Home Care Hub! If you meet the eligibility requirements, our Program Coordinator will take you through an orientation, review your responsibilities while using the Tuition Assistance program, and discuss the finer points of the program. Most students usually need to submit several applications per year, and they must be submitted on time. See the table below for the application deadlines, and be sure to mark your dates on your calendar!
My Class Starts | My Application is Due |
---|---|
March 1 - May 14 | February 1 |
May 15 - August 14 | April 1 |
August 15 - November 30 | July 1 |
December 1 - February 28 | November 1 |
Reimbursement or Voucher Payments
If your application is accepted, we will determine if you are eligible for either a reimbursement payment program or a voucher payment program. This decision is based on several factors, including the school you are attending and grades you earn. Reimbursement students will receive a repayment of tuition and fees paid up front by the student. Voucher students will have payments submitted directly to the school on their behalf.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for Tuition Assistance, you must be employed as a Home Care Attendant by one of the employers below. You must have been employed in your position for 4 months prior to the deadline of your first application. Applicants must also work and maintain an average of at least 15 hours per week throughout the program to continue eligibility.
