How do I know if I'm eligible for SEIU HCPA Training and Education Fund Benefits?
To be eligible for The SEIU Training and Education Fund benefits, you must work in a union position at a participating employer. The Training and Education Fund is a benefit bargained into your SEIU HCPA union contract.

How do I know what classes I can take?
SEIU HCPA Training and Education Fund members have several certifications available: CPR, Mental Health First Aid, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Dementia Capable Care, and ServSafe. Visit our Take A Class page to learn more or sign up!
Am I eligible for Tuition Assistance?
In order to be eligible for Tuition Assistance, you must be employed at a participating facility for a minimum of 15 hours per week for one continuous year prior to the application deadline.
How do I use my Tuition Assistance benefit?
If you are a first-time applicant, you must first contact us and talk with your Training and Education Fund Program Specialist for an overview of the process.
If you are a returning applicant, you can submit your application using the form on our Tuition Assistance page.
You must submit an application for every term or semester you want to use your Tuition Assistance benefit. We provide up to $5,000 per calendar year toward tuition, books, and fees.
You may use your Tuition Assistance benefit for any course of study toward any approved or accredited undergraduate degree, certification, non-credit program, workshop, or skills enhancement module.
I have these great benefits available to me, how do I use them?
Nearly all of our benefits can be accessed through your Program Specialist. She/he will guide you through enrollment in any of our great programs.
