Tuition Assistance: Up to $5,000 a Year for School!

Relieve the financial burden of pursuing your goals and get up to $5,000 per year for school! You can choose any healthcare-related field of study for as long as you need, and you never have to pay it back! Certification Classes

CPR First Aid

Learn the proper responses and techniques to save lives from sudden cardiac arrest. This class is available in-person only. Certification is valid for 2 years. 

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention

Learn simple skills for assessing, managing, and responding to risk behaviors. Apply verbal de-escalation, prevention, and early intervention skills while keeping everyone safe. Available both online and in-person. This certification is valid for 2 years.

Dementia Capable Care

Provide the best care for those living at different stages of dementia. Reduce the frequency and severity of distress behaviors and engage patients in meaningful activities at their best abilities. Available both online and in-person. This certification is valid for 3 years.

Mental Health First Aid

Identify, understand, and respond to those developing a mental health problem, or experiencing a crisis. Learn more about depression and mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and substance abuse. This certification is valid for 3 years. 


Nutrition, Diet, and Exercise

Short 1-hour course to learn proper in-home food, nutrition, and exercise techniques for the elderly and disabled. This course is available online only.


Foundational Skills Classes

Look out for these short Foundational Skills courses on your schedule. Gain knowledge and improve care without investing a ton of time!

ADLs and IADLs

Students will learn the definition of ADLs and IADLs, the role of the caregiver in these daily activities, how to practice person-centered care, housekeeping tips, and basic nutrition, diet, and physical exercise.

Cultural Competency

Students will gain awareness and sensitivity to cultures outside of their own. Learn more about health choices, language, culture, and difficulties experienced due to cultural differences.

Communication and Teamwork

Learn best practices to effectively communicate with your consumers both individually and in a team environment. 

Body Systems I & II

Dig deeper into the body's systems and the related conditions that can affect them. 

Medication Adherence

Learn the "5 Rights" of medication use, how to properly read labels, and avoid medication errors. 

Grief and Loss

How to manage feelings of loss and grief, where to turn for support, and how caregivers experience coping with grief.

Coaching Conversations

How to communicate effectively with consumers and honor their choices and autonomy. 

Care Team Integration

Learn the basics of care management, service coordination, and how your role fits into the consumer's care team.
